Solax is a well-established and trusted energy company. This is why Sunvolt works and supplies this brand, as we want to give our customers the very best products within the energy sphere.

Solax ensures the reliability and durability of all its products. This is due to products being created and transported with the utmost care.

Benefits of Solax batteries include products with a higher energy density, whilst also being more lightweight than other products available.

For these reasons as well as many more, this is why Solax is one of the most popular energy companies across the UK.

The Newest Products:

Earlier this month due to reports from PV Magazine, it’s now been released that Solax is introducing two new products. Solax stated that these products are energy storage systems that ‘support up to 200% of PV oversizing, 200% PV input and a maximum of 20A DC input per Maximum Power Point Tracker’.

This has been created to produce energy at optimal and peak efficiency levels. This leads to higher energy output results with an increase in sustainable energy yields.

These products are named the X1-IES series and the X3-IES. The X1 has an output of 3 – 8KW, with one to four batteries; whilst the X3 has power ranging from 5-15 KW with two to six batteries.

Product Features:

Solax also highlighted how control and customization of their products enables you as the user to be able to ‘allocate and utilize’ your own energy demands.

It is also highlighted that these products allow for the customer to integrate further safety features such as Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter as well as rapid shutdown if they would like to.

These features ensure the ability to de-energize products quickly and safely.

These residential batteries also come with type II Surge Protective Devices (SPD). This is to spread an overvoltage within the electrical installations which in turn protects the loads.

Solax also stated more features of these newly released products including the switchover time being less than 10 milliseconds. Solax emphasised that the benefits of this include backup power being ‘virtually instantaneous’ due to the transition from the grid.

Finally, the other impressive areas of these products fall within their Emergency Power Supply. This handles up to ‘200% EPS overload for up to 10 seconds and boasts a 50 A charging/discharging rate.”
